all the parts and pieces. Materials are not cheap, and nobody works for free these days. As an example, the billet bushing cups alone cost me $19 each and I had to buy 100 to get that price (please note that it takes two of these to make the kit, and they are not the most expensive component involved). These parts were machined from a solid piece of 2.375" OD steel, basically 80% of the material went into the garbage, but it was the right way to make the best part. Quality costs money, plain and simple. So, let's see... $19 x 100 = $1900, upfront investment, from me, for one component, and there are 20 different components to one set of mounts! If you ever have the opportunity to develop a product such as this and then try to market it, you will find rather quickly that a $5K investment will get you about 30% closer to finally selling your first kit to begin recouping your investment. What would you have me do, give the parts away, or sell them for zero profit? Either scenario would pretty much gaurantee that I (or anyone else) would never develop another part again. Would that make you happy?
